In order to ensure fairness from media and stop the attempts to cancel its leaders




After a three months long boycott and under what the Free Destourien Party considered an exclusion from the media scene in Tunisia, the party is trying to highlight and prove the systemization of this approach through seminars and reports attached to numbers and statistics , a statement was issued by the party on the 1st of June 2021 concerning the report submitted to public opinion on Friday the 28th of May. The party confirms they did share the Repport with the independent high authority for audio-visual communications HAICA. According to the statement the party officially asked the HAICA to perform its amending and supervisory duty in accordance with the decree. No. 116 /2011 related to freedom of audio-visual communication and the creation of an independent supreme authority for audio-visual communication.

the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the promotion and protection of the right to freedom of opinion and expression also received officially a copy of the report 
the Free Destourien Party insisted on guaranteeing the right of the Tunisian people to profit from free, fair and impartial media especially when it comes to politics. 
furthermore the party leadership demanded the right of a media appearance fair share between all the political currents and vowed to gradually escalate the protests until full human and freedom of speech rights are provided
